Meet Nige,

I like to work towards a supportive teaching, coaching, learning environment from myself to the athlete or client. I like two way communication and feedback to improve individual development as each person adapts and responds differently, therefore training programs need to be adjusted accordingly.

My goal oriented training philosophy is to allow a mutually shared direction, with positive feedback and constructive criticism between parties. Long term I want to provide the athlete or client with the ability and skills that can enable further development and self learning.

People say,

Working with Nige to take my running to the next level has been fun and rewarding. Nige is encouraging and a knowledgable coach who has helped me improve my running and run faster than I thought I was capable of. Im really pleased with how my running has improved and Ive found the coaching process enjoyable and motivating. Anthea

When I decided to enter a half ironman Nigel was recommended as the person to coach me. After the initial meeting to ascertain what I wanted, Nige wrote a programme and once a month we met to go over what I had done and evaluate everything. I felt his programme was well balanced and I totally enjoyed the training. Also the nutrition and transition practices were fantastic. I also stayed injury free the whole time which was a huge bonus! AND I completed the half ironman within the time I had set for myself. Nige is very friendly and easy to talk with and I would recommend him to anyone. When I am ready for my full ironman he will be the first person I phone. Yvonne

Nige has wealth of health and fitness knowledge. His passion for fitness is shown through the energy and enthusiasm they bring to every session. He motivated me to push past my perceived limits to get results. Dene

I have just completed a month of group personal training sessions with Nigel which I can highly recommend. There were 3-4 of us, Nigel tailored individual personal programmes for us after consultation to find out what we were wanting to achieve. He would introduce new exercises to each of us as we were ready to progress explaining what he was targeting and why and would oversee us to ensure we were doing them correctly. This meant that we could come into the gym and work on them in between sessions. It was affordable personal training and has given me direction and motivation to get back into the gym again. Sue
